Listen and Repair

Friends sometimes disagree. The goal is not to win every argument; it is to understand what happened and help everyone feel heard. Start by letting the other person finish speaking.

Try saying what you noticed and how you felt, without guessing their intention. I felt left out when the game started without me is clearer than You always leave me out. Then ask what they saw.

If you hurt someone, say what you did, apologize without adding an excuse, and ask what would help repair it. They may need time. Respecting that time is part of being a good friend.
